CAIRO Online Support

General

• Why the name CAIRO?

Data Input

• I need to print reports from a previous reporting period. How do I do this.
• I've entered my grades and/or typed my reports. When I run CAIRO later - they have disappeared! Help!

Administrative Functions

The following items are for system administrators

• I've added a new Subject but it does not appear in the list of available subjects for the current academic year.
• Each time I run CAIRO I get asked to provide the server name.
• When I run CAIRO I get a "Class Not Registered" error message and the program terminates
• When running Ternimal Services to provide remote access capability, when I run CAIRO I still get a "Class Not Registered" error message and the program terminates, even though the two .ocx files have been manually registered.

CAIRO Support Answers

Print Reports from a Previous Period

There are to equally simple ways to do this:

• Select the reporting period that you require from the drop-down list of choices in the main CAIRO menu bar. This sets the default period. Then print reports in the normal manner.
  
  
  Note that if the reporting period your require was in a previous academic year, it will not be available in the list; first select the academic year in the adjacent drop-down list.
  
  
  This will re-populate the period list with appropriate choices, including the one you require.
  
  Remember to reset the reporting period before you start entering data.
• Leave the reporting period in the main menu bar unchanged but make an appropriate selection in the print dialog. When the print dialog is displayed, select the appropriate period:
