Easy Data Input
Each teacher has immediate access to their reports and data - typically just two or three mouse clicks away:
Specific Data Input Features:
- Intelligent Logon When you log on to CAIRO you select your name from the list of available teachers. Thereafter CAIRO remembers your details and by default will present choices that pertain to your teaching sets, classes and tutor groups.
- The most oft-used texts can be assigned to keyboard function keys. Thus a single keypress can insert a favourite text into the current student's report.
- Fast Input for Sets and Tutor Groups Data entry for subject reports can be performed a teaching set at a time in student surname order. A single mouse click navigates through the available records within the set. A similar mechanism is available for rapid entry of tutor reports by tutor group.
- Fast Input for Subject and Year Heads of Department can select reports for entry or review by nominating a subject and school year, for example; Year 9 mathematics. They are then presented with a list of all of the teaching sets for that subject and year with the name of the class teacher alongside.
- For adhoc reports, multiple students can be selected from a list using a shift-click mechanism (the standard multiple selection technique under Windows)
